The Anchor Inn Beer near Seaton in Devon is perfectly situated overlooking the sea in the delightful Devonshire village of Beer only a short drive from the historic market town of Seaton on the stunning East Devon coast. The Anchor is an informal friendly hotel offering attractive accommodation with traditional West Country hospitality and is renowned locally for its excellent food and fresh fish dishes. It is an excellent base for exploring the local area - superb cliff top walks, fishing and scuba diving. Dartmoor and Exmoor are within a few miles.

From J28 on the M5, take the A373 to Honiton, the A375 towards Sidmouth, and the A3052 towards Lyme Regis. At Hangman’s Stone take the B3174 into Beer. The hotel is on the seafront, just by the slipway.

Accommodation

5 of our 6 rooms are en suite, the 6th has its own private bathroom. All are attractively decorated and have sea views. All have colour TV, FREE Wifi, ironing facilities and tea and coffee making facilities. If you like cliff-top walks and picturesque and romantic settings, then you'll be spoilt for choice. The Anchor Inn is located in the village centre, with panoramic sea views from our cliff top beer garden. We do not have a lift facility, and all bedrooms are located on the first or second floor, however all public areas are access friendly. Car parking is available in the village although we have no dedicated spaces. Dogs only welcome in the bar areas, not in guest acommodation

We welcome you to the comfort of our attractive restaurant and bar. We cater for a variety of dining occasions, offering a menu that is packed with a mouth-watering selection of freshly prepared dishes. We specialise in fish dishes, using locally caught produce. We have a lunchtime and an evening menu, giving you a huge choice ranging from light snacks to a full three-course dinner. Don’t forget to check our ever-changing specials board. During the summer months you can dine al fresco style in our large cliff-top beer garden, where you can take in the beautiful sea views.
